working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Rochester, New York, 14621! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

Description: The ideal candidate will work in a Med/Surg/Telemetry
unit. The unit specializes in the care of patients post PCI,
pacemakers, AICDs, and post MI. Cardiac pharmacological
interventions will be required. Responsibilities include cardiac
monitoring and emergency response. Candidates will interpret
dysrhythmias and manage them accordingly. Rapid Response and Code
teams will be utilized as needed. IV therapy and phlebotomy duties
include peripheral line care and management. Respiratory care will
involve the use of nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, and
non-invasive airway management. Isolation precautions must be
followed. The patient ratio is 1:5 to 1:7 for Med/Surg with a total
of 26 beds. Candidates should possess skills in blood product
administration and central line care. Feeding tube care and
management experience is also needed. High-flow nasal cannula and
oxygen administration are essential. Telemetry monitoring on the
unit will be part of the role. Wound care and wound vac management
may also be required. The incoming staff member will work with
various interdisciplinary teams including IV, physical therapy,
respiratory services, and social services. Ideal candidates will
