Job Description CRNA Locum Role Independent Practice | Low Volume | Near Fond du Lac Palm Health is urgently seeking a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to support a well-respected community hospital in Wisconsin , offering a rare opportunity to practice independently (no supervision) in a flexible, low-volume environment. Set in a quiet community within easy reach of Madison and Fond du Lac, this role is great for CRNAs who want a peaceful work setting with flexible scheduling and full autonomy. Assignment Overview Start Date: February 2026 End Date: Ongoing / flexible Setting: Hospital-based (Critical Access; Level IV Trauma) Practice Model: CRNA-only; independent Schedule: Full-time preferred Shifts: Day shifts only (no nights) Call: Optional/negotiable EMR System: EPIC Credentialing Timeline: ~6090 days Practice & Case Details Case Types: General Surgery (~50%) OB/GYN (~25%) Pediatric (~5%) No trauma, no cardiac, no neuro cases Avg. Cases per Day: ~6 Operating Rooms: 3 Staffing: 5 CRNAs on-site; strong team culture Independent Work: No MDAs on-site must be fully confident working solo Requirements Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS Skills Required: Spinal and Epidural Anesthesia Regional Blocks Obstetrical Anesthesia Ventilator Management Central & Arterial Line Placement License: Active Wisconsin license required (IMLC accepted) Experience: Must be comfortable with OB and independent decision-making About the Location This quiet Central Wisconsin town offers a relaxed, small-town atmosphere surrounded by open countryside and farmland ideal for CRNAs seeking a slower pace of life and a supportive, community-focused environment.
