the Position Job Title: Cardiovascular OR Tech Profession: Surgical
Services Specialty: CVOR Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10
Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a
busy CVOR preferred, 5 years preferred License: NY license required
Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience in a variety of
cardiovascular surgical procedures. Ability to float to general
procedures when not busy in CVOR. Experience with EPIC charting
system is a hard requirement. Description: The position requires a
Cardiovascular OR Tech/Surgical Tech specialized in cardiovascular
procedures. Shift is 4x10 from 07:00 to 17:00. The role entails
participation in elective and emergency surgeries for adult and
pediatric patients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to
assisting with procedures such as Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
(CABG), Aortic Aneurysm repair, and Transcatheter Aortic Valve
Replacement (TAVR). The successful candidate will have proficiency
in aseptic technique and care of surgical instruments. The role
includes a call shift requirement of one per week and one full
weekend per month. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in
handling surgical equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
Experience with trauma cases is preferred but not mandatory. This
position offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume surgical
