Physical Therapist Location: Wyoming Agency: Medix Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Medix is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to fill a rewarding travel contract with one of our valued client facilities. This assignment is based in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Short Term Rehabilitation setting, where you'll have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the recovery and mobility of patients. As the Physical Therapist, you will provide comprehensive therapy services, working as an essential clinician to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent disability for a geriatric patient population . This role offers a predictable schedule and a manageable patient load, allowing for focused, high-quality care. Location: Gillette, WY Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Short Term Rehab Start Date: November 17th, 2025 Length of Assignment: Approximately 13 Weeks (520 Expected Hours) State License Needed: Wyoming (WY) PT license Schedule: Monday to Friday, five 8-hour shifts, 8 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Provide skilled Physical Therapy (PT) services within a SNF and short-term rehabilitation setting. Deliver exceptional patient care primarily to a geriatric patient population . Manage a variable patient volume, with a maximum of 10 patients per day . Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately using the facility's EMR system (Medhelp interfaced into Point-Click Care). Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations and professional standards of practice. Requirements Valid and active Wyoming (WY) Physical Therapist (PT) license is required. Minimum education: Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
