Med/Surg / Tele RN in Rochester, New York, 14445! Job Opportunity –
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical Telemetry – New York Start
Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation:
Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts
with every-other-weekend coverage required. Day shift patient ratio
1:5, night shift patient ratio 1:7. Floating to other units may be
required. 12 hours of orientation provided. Highlights: Work in a
specialized 14-bed overflow unit supporting emergency department
boarder patients in a flexible medical-surgical telemetry
environment Gain experience in a dynamic flex space where patient
volume adjusts based on facility demand, offering diverse patient
care opportunities Collaborate with robust interdisciplinary
support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory
services, pharmacy, and radiology Epic charting system utilized
throughout the facility Serve adult and geriatric patient
populations with varied medical-surgical and telemetry diagnoses
First-time travelers welcomed and supported Requirements: Active
New York RN license (must be in hand prior to submission) Minimum 1
year of recent medical-surgical and telemetry experience Current
BLS and NIHSS certifications required Proficiency with Epic
electronic medical records system (required) Strong competency in
IV placement and peripheral line care/management Demonstrated
skills in interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
Experience with rapid response and code team protocols Knowledge of
oxygen administration, airway management, and isolation precautions
Charge nurse experience preferred Must reside at least 75 miles
