A nursing professional with expertise in medical-surgical and telemetry care is needed for a 13-week contract role in Canandaigua, NY. This opportunity involves working night shifts in a cardiac medical/telemetry unit, providing critical patient care within a 37-bed setting. Schedule/Hours: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 PM 7 AM) 36 to 48 hours per week available One weekend shift weekly or two weekend shifts every other weekend Mandatory work of at least one holiday during the contract Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 1 year recent acute med-surg/telemetry experience required 2 years recent experience preferred For non-U.S. candidates, 2 years of U.S. work experience required Active NY Registered Nurse (RN) license NIH and AHA BLS certifications required Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care on the cardiac med/tele unit Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation Flexibly adapt to the units scheduling needs, including floating to other units as required Participation in charge nurse duties with provided training Additional Information: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Block booking may be requested but not guaranteed This contract offers an opportunity to enhance clinical skills within a dynamic cardiac care environment, with support for professional growth and leadership development.
