Responsibilities include: Managing emergency patient care with a focus on prioritization, rapid assessment, and effective time management Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery Utilizing EMR systems, preferably Meditech, to document and track patient information accurately Performing standard emergency nursing procedures consistent with best practices and unit protocols Desired qualifications and experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of emergency nursing experience is required Strong prioritization and time management capabilities Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are mandatory Candidates with 2 or more years in an ER setting and Meditech EHR experience are preferred A team-oriented mindset and effective communication skills are essential for success Schedule and work environment: This contract role includes rotating weekend shifts Work attire consists of royal blue scrubs The unit operates with a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 4:1 and is staffed with paramedics and other emergency personnel About Irving, TX:Situated within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, Irving offers a vibrant community with a blend of urban amenities and suburban comfort.
