Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,182 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Rochester, New York, 14445! Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN – New York Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week contract; every other weekend required; block scheduling available upon request but not guaranteed Highlights: Day shift ratios 5:1 (stretch 6-7); night shift ratios 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10) 22-bed unit serving adult and geriatric populations with cardiac, pulmonary, GI, and diabetic diagnoses Comprehensive support including IV teams, phlebotomy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and PCTs for vital signs and ADLs Epic charting system with 8 hours paid orientation Float opportunities within scope to similar units including ED boarders and stable ICU patients First-time travelers welcome with at least 1 year of recent MS/Tele experience Requirements: Active New York RN license (must be in hand prior to submission) BLS and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience Epic charting experience strongly preferred Competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drips (no titration), IV insulin and heparin protocols Experience with chest tubes, tracheostomy care, wound vac, feeding tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula Willingness to float to med-surg units, ED boarders, and stable ICU patients as needed Must reside outside 75-mile local radius Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a well-supported telemetry environment where you can expand your skills across a diverse patient population while being backed by robust interdisciplinary teams.
