Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,914 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) RN – New York Start Date: February 10, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 4x12 night shifts, every other weekend required. Patient ratio 1:5 to 1:7. Orientation: 24 hours. Highlights: 26-bed critical care step-down unit in a 528-bed tertiary care hospital Diverse patient population including post-ICU, PACU, ED, and med-surg transfers requiring specialized monitoring Advanced critical care experience: arterial line management, vasoactive drip titration, BIPAP support, and central line care Continuous telemetry and pulse-oximetry monitoring for all patients with focus on pulmonary diagnoses Epic charting system with strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response, and pharmacy Float opportunities to ICU or medical-surgical units Requirements: Active New York RN license required in hand prior to submission Minimum 1 year of experience in step-down, progressive care, or IMC setting BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Epic charting experience mandatory Demonstrated experience with arterial line management and vasopressor titration Experience managing patient ratios of 1:5 or higher Competency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and use of rapid response/code teams Skills in IV therapy, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, and respiratory support Must reside 75 miles or more from the facility Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a vigilant, adaptive team dedicated to providing exceptional, evidence-based care in a fast-paced intermediate care environment.
