Job Description:
Catholic Health seeks Board Certified OB-GYN's for
Hospitalist/Laborist role. The role has excellent support from
Neonatology, APP's, MFM, Pediatrics and Adult medical services.
Catholic Health has roles in our Sisters of Charity Hospital,
housing a Level III NICU, as well as Mercy Hospital of Buffalo,
which has a Level II NICU. Our sites are busy with excellent Board
Certified, OB-GYN's both employed and private practice, with over
5,000 deliveries per year. Our maternity hospitals have the ability
to care for both Moms and Babies in the same hospital. We are
seeking providers seeking to be a part of our organization to care
for the women of Western New York. KEY JOB FEATURES Competitive
Compensation - $290,000 for Full Time role Possible sign on bonus
for full time providers Non-Profit Organization, PSLF eligible Full
time is 7, 24 HOUR days (1 weekend/Mo) We possibly could
accommodate schedules for part-time Collaborative and experienced
staff Neonatology Support 24/7 by Board Certified Neonatologists
MFM Consults available KEY REQUIREMENTS: Board Certified OB-GYN
Candidate must have current, unrestricted, New York State license
High Risk Experience ER Surgical requirement KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Routine care for all Obstetrical patients Provide in-house
obstetrical services, including but not limited to emergency
cesarean sections, spontaneous vaginal or operative vaginal births,
and rounding on antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients.
Provide backup support to obstetrical providers when requested,
including VBAC coverage. Assist other attending physicians in
surgery when requested and performing emergency GYN procedures that
present through Emergency Department LABOR & DELIVERY The Labor and
Delivery is integrated with the post-partum and the NICU.
Communication and handoffs are solid, and the overall environment
is collaborative and supportive. All staff are Electronic Fetal
Monitor certified (including the nurses) and safety drills are a
regular part of the culture. Supporting Colleagues There are
supportive adults and pediatric providers available, including
Board Certified Neonatologists, adult specialists as well as a
NNPs, PAs and Pediatricians. Maternal Fetal Medicine coverage is
available for consults. The anesthesia coverage is excellent and
the critical communication among departments is streamlined with
