Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 09/15/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Travel RN – MS/Tele Location: Rochester, NY Start Dates: 09/15, 09/22 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 3x12 (7p–7a) | Weekends: Every other weekend Requirements: - Active RN license (no pending licenses) - Certifications: BLS required - Experience: 1 year recent MS/Tele; first-time travelers accepted - Charting: Epic preferred - Skills: Dysrhythmia interpretation/management, rapid response, IV therapy & peripheral line care, oxygen therapy & non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions - Must float to MS, ICU, or ED (Med-Surg patients only / helping hands) Unit Details: - 20-bed MS/Tele unit, adult/geriatric patients (cardiac, wound care) - Ratios: Evenings 5:1 (stretch 6–7), Nights 6–7:1 (stretch 8–9) - PCT support (VS, glucose checks, EKGs, ADLs) - Phlebotomy team draws peripherals; RN responsible for PICC/central lines - Equipment: Hoyer lifts, wound vacs - Orientation: 4 hours (class floor) Other Info: - No locals (within 75 miles) - Navy blue/white scrubs required - Limited RTO (1 week preferred) - Block scheduling requested, not guaranteed Ref : 25-271402 About First Connect Health At First Connect Health, we take pride in being a Joint Commission–certified healthcare staffing agency, headquartered in Newark, New Jersey.
