Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Step Down/Pulmonary Unit Duration: 13-week contract Shift: Straight nights only Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: ICU skilled nursing experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - ICU skilled nursing experience - AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Description: The position requires working every other weekend. Floating to other units may be expected if needed. Candidates should be aware of the patient population requiring invasive monitoring. Responsibilities include managing new/rescue/continuous NIPPV and new trachs. Ventilator management with endotracheal tubes and transvenous pacing is required. The facility may call off up to 3 shifts for the duration of the 13-week contract. For contracts less than 13 weeks, the facility may call off up to 2 shifts. An eight-hour non-billable orientation will be provided. Candidates must be available to work every other holiday.
