We have an evening shift opening for a skilled General X?Ray Technologist with on?call responsibilities—including weekends and holidays. Must be able to report within 30 minutes of an on?call alert. Schedule Start Date : 07/07/2025 End Date : 10/04/2025 Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Sunday – Thursday On?call, callbacks & holidays per unit needs Must report within 30 minutes of call?in Position Overview Provide diagnostic radiography in a Level 1 trauma environment during evening hours. Your work will support physicians and complement ER workflow with speed and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Verify patient identity and physician orders using dual?identifier protocols Educate and reassure patients about procedures Safely position patients—including those with limited mobility Operate X?ray, C?arm/O?arm equipment per ALARA and safety standards Capture high?quality diagnostic images and upload to PACS Monitor patient status and adhere to age?specific care needs Report equipment issues promptly Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff for smooth operations Requirements Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology Active ARRT certification NYS license (or able to obtain prior to start) 2 years X?ray technologist experience , with Level 1 trauma background BLS (AHA) C?arm/O?arm experience within the past 8 months Physical ability to lift/move patients and stand long hours Clear analytical and communication skills Compassionate, patient?centered attitude Team?oriented and adaptable Able to arrive within 30 minutes on call Ideal Candidate Traits Detail?focused and committed to imaging excellence Calm under pressure and rapidly adaptable in emergencies Proactive communicator and collaborative team player Ready to step into a fast?paced evening travel role in Rochester, NY?
