W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,920.00 Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,480.00 OR For Traveler 1099 Candidates: Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $88.00 Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $3,520.00 Position Overview: The CVOR RN provides expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures. This role involves assisting in surgical operations, maintaining a sterile environment, and collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure safe and successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are sterile and ready. Assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique. Monitor patient vital signs and surgical site throughout the operation. Administer medications and manage surgical instruments as directed. Document all surgical activities, nursing care, and patient responses accurately. Participate in preoperative planning and postoperative debriefings. Provide patient and family education regarding surgical procedures and recovery processes. Maintain certification and competencies specific to cardiovascular surgical nursing. Requirements: Active RN license (New York) /Compact. BLS Certification .
