Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Level 2 Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Acute Care ICU Duration: Part Time Shift: Rotating Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Must be currently licensed as a registered professional nurse. Certifications: Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS. Must-Have: - Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and enhance teamwork. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - Computer literacy. Description: This position involves working in an Intensive Care Unit with rotating day and night shifts. The schedule includes two 12-hour shifts per week with holiday rotations. Roles require candidates to possess current licensure and specific certifications. Certification in Basic Coronary Care is required within the first six months. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification is required within 90 days of hire. Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within two years. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is recommended within two years. The individual must ensure safety, promote dignity, and exemplify healthy relationships in the work environment. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of patient care appropriate for different age groups. Assessment skills for evaluating patient status and interpreting necessary information are essential.
