Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Mammography Technologist Specialty: Mammography Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Experience: Must have continuing experience of performing at least 200 mammograms in 24 months. License: Active state license Certifications: Certification in Mammography with ARRT, AHA BLS Must-Have: Continuing education of 24 credit hours per biennium, with 15 of those credit hours in mammography 8 hours of training in digital mammography 8 hours of training in tomography 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates Description: The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammograms in a clinical setting. Candidates must possess a certification in Mammography with ARRT. An active state license is required for practice. The role requires a minimum of 200 mammograms performed in the last 24 months. AHA BLS certification is essential. Continuing education is mandatory, with 24 credit hours required per biennium, including 15 credit hours specifically in mammography. Training in digital mammography (8 hours) is required. Training in tomography (8 hours) is also necessary. Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of experience in the U.S. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
