Position Overview We're seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technician to join our dynamic Main Operating Room team at a premier Level 1 Trauma Center in Rochester, NY. Our facility offers: Advanced Technology & Equipment: - 2 state-of-the-art Da Vinci robotic systems used across multiple services - Comprehensive transplant program (liver, kidney, and heart) - Modern surgical suites with the latest medical technology Diverse Surgical Specialties: - Orthopedics & Trauma Surgery - General Surgery & Plastics - Cardiac & Vascular Procedures - Neurosurgery & Ophthalmology - Urology, GYN, ENT & Thoracic - Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery Key Responsibilities - Provide expert surgical support in our multi-specialty OR environment - Maintain sterile fields and assist surgeons during complex procedures - Operate as both scrub tech and circulating nurse - Support emergency trauma cases in our Level 1 trauma center - Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams Required Qualifications - New York State Surgical Tech License (Required) - BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) - Minimum 2 years of OR experience - Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred - Ability to scrub and circulate competently Competitive Compensation Package Total Weekly Package: $1,658 Hourly Rates: - Base Rate: $15.50/hour (taxable) Tax-Free Benefits: - Meals & Incidentals: $400/week - Lodging Allowance: $700/week Assignment Details: - 13-week contract - 36 hours per week guaranteed - Additional hours available Why Choose This Opportunity?
