You’ll monitor vital signs, manage pain and complications, and ensure safe, smooth transitions from surgery to discharge or inpatient care. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and assess post-anesthesia patients for pain, consciousness, and complications Administer medications, including pain relief and IV fluids Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and recovery staff Educate patients and families on post-op instructions Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to protocols Requirements: Active RN license (Compact license preferred) BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred for pediatric PACU Minimum 1 year of recent PACU, pre-op, or critical care experience Strong post-op assessment and emergency response skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced recovery room environment At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
