Earn even more with our pay-in-lieu of benefits program (11% premium if you opt out of medical and PTO)Shifts available: 2-10pm or 10pm-6am - full-time or part-time available.Reduced tolls available for employees crossing the Grand Island Bridge.Elderwood at Grand Island is seeking high quality, compassionate RN Supervisors (RN) to be on the front lines, making the difference in the lives of our residents and their families.Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor Position Overview:The Nursing Supervisor assists with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by being responsible for nursing care rendered at the facility during the assigned shift, supervision of nursing personnel of each unit, and other additional duties assigned by the Director of Nursing Services.Responsibilities:Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor:Responsible for responding immediately to residents requests.Supervise nursing care services and staff on all units while on duty.Actively promotes facility safety programs.May assume responsibility as the Infection Preventionist Nurse.Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing Services and/or Director of Nursing Services.Registered Nurse (RN) - Skills/Competencies:Effective problem-solving skillsCaring, compassionate and empathetic attitudeAble to relate well with residents, families and co-workersExceptional customer serviceExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenTeam-focused demeanorStrong supervisory skills for managing and coordinating care of residentsQualifications:Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor:Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical NurseMinimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership roleInterest or experience in geriatricsCurrent BLS/CPRExperience with dementia population desirableThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
