Job Description:

Psychiatric-Mental Health opening in Buffalo, New York.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8a-4:30p, 40hrs/week. No weekend or off-hours call.
Job Setting: Psychiatric Center - Inpatient
Patients per Day/Volume:
Types of Cases: The inpatient psychiatrist will need to perform evaluations for mental hygiene court retentions and treatment over objection, as clinically indicated, and testify in court as needed. There are infrequent evaluations of privilege levels as part of a hospital forensic committee for patients committed under insanity statutes.
Electronic Medical Record- MHARS
Board Certified or Board Eligible, Active New York license, Drug Enforcement Administration certification (DEA), and Basic Life Support(BLS)/(CPR) is required
