Our practice is located in beautiful western New York with Allegany State Park and Holiday Valley Ski Resort just a half-hours drive from our main Olean site. The community is rural with great (no, phenomenal) public school districts and affordable housing.

The practice is a federally qualified health center and as such has both its own loan repayment program and is a National Health Service Corps site. Because we emphasize quality of care, we expect that a physician will see between 16-20 patients per day, allowing the practitioner to have the time in the exam room to practice the high quality of medicine we value. We have twice won the HRSA National Quality Leader Award, one of about 30 health centers across the country to win such an award, which places us in the top 5% of all health centers in the country. We have an integrated electronic health record and have created a Quality Data Integration department so that we can emphasize utilizing the health record in the most efficient way. We support our medical staff with an LPN model, not medical office assistants, to give our practitioners additional support in the exam room. Further, we have a care management team led by two registered nurses which helps to support our docs and our patients in managing chronic disease.

We are very proud to also serve as an outpatient residency teaching site of the Olean General Hospital/University of Buffalo School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine rural residency training program. In this capacity, we provide the outpatient family medicine training to our residents, giving our physicians the opportunity to teach.

The position we're looking to fill is a full-time family practice physician, but we would also consider a family practice physician who has completed a fellowship in surgical obstetrics or an internal medicine physician if he/she has completed a fellowship in pediatrics as well. We have about 10,000 patients, a medical staff of nine providers and currently three sites (though were beginning work on our fourth site to be opened in August 2016).
