To teach in D'Youville University's Joint program with Guanxi Medical University.D'Youville's Patricia H. Garman School of Nursing is seeking an outstanding master's prepared nurse educator who appreciates diversity and the opportunity to teach nursing courses to students in China. -The selected candidate will provide educational experiences to students enrolled in D'Youville University's joint program with GuanXi Medical University. Faculty of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. - Qualified candidates will be considered. -Job Details:Faculty members in the School of Nursing are primarily responsible for the implementation of educational programs through classroom teaching, lab instruction, and clinical supervision. The individual hired for this position would be required to instruct students enrolled in a joint program with GuanXi Medical University. The instructor would provide synchronous online instruction during a mutually agreed upon time.Duration of the appointment would be for two academic years, ending in May 2024 with faculty interest and satisfactory performance. Courses will be taught in Fall semester from September to January then Spring/Summer from May to July. -Qualifications:Applicants must have a Master's in Nursing degree from a nationally accredited institution, and have an active, unencumbered licensed in the state of New York. - Doctoral degree (for example PhD, EdD, DNP) preferred. - -Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Maintain professional competence and certification (if applicable) in specialty area -
  • Advise and mentor nursing students -
  • Hold virtual office hours as outlined by the nursing department -
  • Engage in professional development activities to maintain currency in nursing practice -
  • Possess clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to interact and establish good interpersonal and collaborative relationshipsAcceptable Education and Experience:
    • A minimum of a Master of Science degree in Nursing is required for a clinical track appointment. -
    • A minimum of a doctoral degree in nursing or a related field is required for a tenure track appointment.
    • An unencumbered license that is currently registered in the State of New York or eligibility for licensure is required.
