Job Description:
Why Orthopedics/ENT/Plastics? This is a 35-bed monitored
nursingunit that provides the opportunity to work with a wide
variety of patientsranging from adults to Geriatrics.-- The
conditions that are within thescope of service include the
following but are not limited to: Traumatic Complex Fractures
Elective Joint Replacements ------ Rapid Recovery Program Sports
Injuries Spinal Deformities Hip Fractures Compression Fractures
Pelvic Fractures Skeletal Malformations and Abnormalities
Amputations and Prosthesis Medical Surgical patients including
those requiring Telemetry Elective Plastic surgery-- Tracheotomy
Care and (Maintenance and support)-a Registered Nurse on this floor
will develop top notch skills with Trach care compared to anywhere
else in the hospital.Graduate of an accredited Program
requiredRegistered Nurse (RN) license required Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required2+ Years of
experience requiredNote: If you have less than 6 months of
experience, we recommend that you apply to our nursing internship
program.-- Internships are available for new graduates and
experienced nurses in a variety of specialties. New classes begin
in January, June, and September.
