SMB Sales Strategy Manager, WW Distribution Job Description: Become part of the WW Distribution Team at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (Employer) and act as a liaison between US SMB Sales, Business Unit Category Management and our Strategic Distributors to drive growth and incremental profitability for Employer and our partner community. The WW Distribution team works to extend the reach of our sales organization and assists in recruiting and enabling an incremental VARs to take Employer technologies into their customer base.Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.Key Responsibilities Grow the US SMB Business by leveraging strategic distributors to provide Structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies and tactics. Develops recommendations for optimizing business and financial performance. Manages large, cross- functional teams and communications to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery to clients. Consults with business executives on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process, including risk management and new growth opportunities. Closely collaborate with Employer SMB Sales, US Category Management and US Distribution teams to align constituents to common priorities. Liaise with global GBU and marketing teams to determine promotional activities of a product category and SMB offers Analyse data or insights to determine industry trends and customer needs Assist in devising long term development strategies for product categories and SMB offers Proactively gather market and competitive selling intelligence Support ad hoc complex business opportunities requiring a tailored selling approachQualifications:Experience Education: BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or related field 5+ years of experience in Sales, Channel Management or Product Management Proven Track record of achieving targets Experience in a matrix reporting environment Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting Solid reputation and credibility with business Ability to manage a fast moving, market oriented and dynamic work environmentKey Success Drivers Strong business acumen, ability to partner and challenge the business Strategic mind set and business orientation Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence Project management and organizational skills Critical thinking and analysis skills Ability to solve unstructured business problems Self-motivation and independence Strong ethics and transparency in dealings with all stakeholdersJob:Business PlanningJob Level:Master Hewlett Packard Enterprise is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
