Job Summary
The Manager, Accounting Policy & Special Projects is a critical position in our accounting department. This position reports to the Associate Director and will play a key role in advancing accounting department strategic priorities while working closely with departments across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Be responsible for complex, critical accounting estimates, including revenue recognition.
• Ownership of the end-to-end process that supports the development of the critical accounting estimates.
• Monitor, research and provide interpretation of new and proposed accounting pronouncements to determine the accounting and financial reporting impact to ACV.
• Perform contract reviews and analysis for new product and services.
• Play a supporting role in strategic initiatives in the accounting department (ex. Accelerated close timeline, automation, process improvement, etc.).
• Provide accounting support and guidance for complex business transactions such as business combinations and financing activities.
• Interact with the company's independent accounting firm in connection with the annual audit of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Support the preparation and review of revenue related financial statement disclosures.
• Assist with preparation of presentations to the executive management team.
• Support the implementation of operational and financial reporting internal controls for the accounting areas managed.
• Take initiative to identify issues then develop and recommend solutions.
• Supervise and manage team of staff and senior accountants.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Education Requirements
  • Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Preferred - MBA or related Years of Experience
    • 6 years accounting experience
    • 3 years supervisory/managerial experience Qualifications
      • CPA or CMA required
      • Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP required.
      • Experience with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) financial reporting (e.g., financial statements within Forms 10-K and 10-Q) preferred.
      • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office products and financial ERP systems.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Proficiency in navigating ERP systems (NetSuite and SalesForce preferred).
      • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop solutions to business problems.
      • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
      • Attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining the ability to prioritize and facilitate cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment. #Ind123KW
