Job Description:
THE POSITION
Goodwill is a people-centric organization that focuses on the
growth and development of our employees. Our Assistant Store
Managers are vital members of our Store Management team and work
alongside the Store Manager at their store location. Assistant
Store Managers are provided with leadership training through
Goodwill's Leadership Academy to give them the tools and resources
needed to grow into future Store Managers.
This position's key responsibilities include:
Meets all retail performance standards including operating loss
control and ensures compliance with all policies and
procedures.
Assists Store Manager with implementing strategies to improve
customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability.
Works with Store Manager to ensure all business goals and metrics
are met.
Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved timely, and
service is quick and efficient.
Coaches, mentors and trains employees as needed. Manages employees
in absence of the Store Manager.
Oversees all Retail Store Operations in the absence of the Store
Manager.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED.
Prior supervisory and retail experience is preferred.
If hired, you would be required to attend a full-day orientation at
