Job Description:
The Risk Reporting Lead Analyst is accountable for management of
complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and
directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive
understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they
interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.
Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical
contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity.
Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to
one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication
skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior
level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable
for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources,
policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function.
Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources
for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple
teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to
include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary
actions and terminations and budget approval.This specific
individual contributor role is part of Price Risk's Data
Transformation team supporting Market Risk. This role will focus on
data remediation covering the firm's Price Risk framework,
including risk factor sensitivities, VaR, Stress Testing and FRTB.
Additionally this role will be accountable for remediation of
prioritized data quality issues by working cross-functionality to
identify, document and track, and remediate issues at the source.
Also includes leading strategic design of process, operating models
and controls through the firm's data
transformation.Responsibilities:Contributes to the analysis and
preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators,
Auditors, etc. that detail risks inherent in Credit, Market,
Operational or other Risk Portfolios. Reporting can cover a variety
of areas including but not limited to: portfolio concentrations,
limit exceptions, stress testing, loss reserves or high-risk
exposures.Participates in preparing regular and time-sensitive
ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements,
closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio
managersAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made,
demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation
and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving
compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to
Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal
behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing
and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as
effectively supervise the activity of others and create
accountability with those who fail to maintain these
standards.Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years' experience in the
financial services industry and/or related fieldsExperience in
market (price) risk or related fields is desiredAbility to
independently and effectively work across all levels of management
and across functions to accomplish the missionDemonstrated strong
leadership experience, especially in transitioning or challenged
environments (including strong facilitation and presentation
skills)Education:Bachelor's/University degreeMaster's and/or MBA
