Description
- Collaborates with executive leadership to define the Colleges
long-term mission, vision, values, and goals; identifies ways to
advance these through talent management. Serves as internal
coaching consultant to executive leadership. I
- Identifies strategies and related key performance indicators
for the organizations human resource and talent management
functions inclusive of succession planning; competency management;
performance management; sourcing and recruitment; associate
learning and development; and information systems. Assesses the
organizations success and market competitiveness based on these
metrics. Formally reports to executive leadership on state of
hiring, market, and workplace conditions.
- Develops and implements competitive compensation, benefits,
performance appraisal, and associate incentive programs.
- Diversity, Sensitivity, and Inclusion
- In collaboration with the Diversity, Sensitivity, and Inclusion
(DSI) Work-team, leads the Colleges DSI Strategic Plan
initiative.
- Compliance
- Establishes and ensures compliance with the Colleges ethics,
anti-harassment, and anti-discrimination policies.
- Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance,
safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in
employment law, human resources, and talent management.
- Ensures the coaching, discipline, and termination of associates
consistent with College policy.
- HR Department Leadership
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management level HR
staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the HR department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations to the
HR staff.
- Drafts and implements the organizations staffing budget and the
budget for the human resources department.
- Provides guidance and leadership to the HR management
team.
- Provides leadership and oversight to HR department staff on
associate relations, benefits, compensation, and talent recruitment
matters.
- Performs other duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
