As a Store Management Trainee, you will be placed at one of our locations throughout WNY and will learn about our business operations. You will also attend our Leadership Academy to develop your people management skills. This position's key responsibilities include:

--- Learns and assists the Retail Store Manager in implementation of strategies necessary to meet or achieve sales goal.
--- Assists the Retail Store Managers in interviewing and training staff for all retail location.
--- Learns all necessary duties of operating the retail store.
--- Oversees and works with store donations: receiving, processing, and tagging.
--- Reviews and oversees the schedules and work of staff.
--- Shadows the Retail Store Managers when coaching and managing the performance of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
--- Assists in coordinating staff and fulfills staffing needs for regular hours, as well as special events or high-traffic times.
--- Maintains and motivates a positive sales team through communication, incentives, and evaluations.
--- Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
--- Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
--- Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks. Uses company software to research, analyze, and track purchases.
--- Ensures that the store always looks clean and inviting.
--- Places and rotates merchandise to attract positive attention from customers.
--- Performs other duties as assigned.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS (The stuff you must have)

--- High School Diploma required. Associate's Degree preferred.
--- Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading a team.
--- Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a retail or production related job (ie. Landscape Foreman, Production Foreman in Manufacturing, Crew Lead in Construction).
--- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

--- Retail Experience.
