M&T's End User Computing Team is focused on providing modern
digital experiences to the entirety of M&T Bank employees -
allowing them to focus on their job, not their technology. - Our
Microsoft suite, collaboration tools and hardware used by employees
are all part of the constantly evolving set of foundational
capabilities we are responsible for shepherding. We build and
deliver a wide variety of cutting-edge capabilities used across the
enterprise to provide the best internal customer experience
possible, enhancing the ability of our business partners to
deliver.Overview: Provides a complete business technology/lifecycle
function from conception, requirements assessment, design and
deployment for technology products, personas and tailored
workspaces to sustain the Bank's competitiveness in its market
space.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as trusted Technology advisor and function as key point
of contact for assigned business units
- Drive standardization on product development, testing and
deployment across End User Computing technology working with each
Product Owner -
- Market new and existing technology product solutions to
assigned business units to meet business objectives.
- Solicit technology feedback on use of existing technology
services and requests for enhancements or changes to services to
best meet the needs of assigned business units.
- Provide highly-valued strategic consulting level support and
guidance to assigned business units through use of key technology
initiatives.
- Facilitate smooth adoption of new End User Services
technologies by business users in assigned areas.
- Serve as lead for planning and executing initiatives to enable
the business to achieve objectives through the effective use of
technology.
- Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project
information to appropriate levels of staff regarding technology
service requests, projects and initiatives.
- Promote Technology Division's vision, value, services and
capabilities to assigned business areas. Serve as advocate on
behalf of business stakeholders to ensure Technology services meet
their business priorities and needs.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Build a strong culture of collaboration, including stakeholder
relationships, with Business Line to prioritize the most impactful
enhancements and opportunities, resulting in an improved customer
experience.
- Develop, deliver and manage digital marketing and
communications initiatives translating a clear message to
users.
- Provide training administration and tactical support, which may
include scheduling and training event logistics.
- Support the collection and analysis of business readiness and
customer experience data, including survey development and
administration to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide input and support the design and delivery of training
programs or learning resources.
- Assist in design and implement plans to optimize user
experience and engagement, including establishment of Technology
User Groups to gauge performance and define use cases for
enterprise use.
- Lead/Collaborate and analyze results of marketing campaigns and
make recommendations based upon campaign results and effectiveness
in meeting business objectives.
- Implements programs to increase employee awareness and
knowledge of activities affecting employees
- Obtain and analyze data via numerous sources, including user
feedback to identify patterns which require technology development
to improve service delivery and customer experience. -
Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in Information Technology,
Business or related field and a minimum of 5 years' internal and/or
external technology and/or business experience, or in lieu of a
degree, a combined minimum of 7 years' higher education and/or work
experience including a minimum of 5 years' internal and/or external
technology and/or business experience

Education and Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or
related field
- Minimum of 5 years' technical experience
- In-depth knowledge of Technology service catalog and assigned
departments/business areas to identify and communicate how
Technology solutions can support the achievement of short- and
long-term business goals
- Expertise on assigned business unit daily activities and
important Technology tasks needing to be executed to facilitate
those operations
- Digital Communications and Marketing experience
- Strong presentation skills

- Prior experience asserting ideas and gaining support and
commitment from others
- Prior experience encouraging teamwork and acting as a role
