Corporate Safety Director for Demolition Company Buffalo NY

• Must have the ability to strategically develop, maintain, follow up and complete projects on time and will be highly motivated to continuously seek ways to improve standards and processes
• Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections
• Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics Monitors compliance with safety procedures Drafts inspections reports to document inspection findings Ensures that safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required Remain current on all regulatory requirements and law changes Provide solid leadership & strong effective communication among direct team members and across department personnel Set and enforce standards for health and safety during operations Prepare and present reports to update upper management on health and safety projects Must observe all safety rules and wear all safety equipment provided or required by the company Manage safety coordinator responsibilities and daily functions Must have environmental experience Nuclear and Demolition Salary depends on experience Please reply with your attached resume.
