Job Description:
As a leader in energy solutions, Constellation seeks a seasoned
Sr Dry Cask Storage Specialist to join our engineering team. This
role focuses on the safe and efficient handling, storage, and
management of spent nuclear fuel using dry cask storage technology.
The ideal candidate will oversee the design, implementation, and
maintenance of dry cask systems, ensuring compliance with
regulatory standards and advancements in technology to promote
sustainable energy storage solutions. Design and evaluate dry cask
storage systems for spent nuclear fuel. Ensure compliance with all
federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Collaborate with
engineering teams to innovate and improve storage solutions.
Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections of storage
facilities. Lead training sessions for new engineers and technical
staff. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations
for stakeholders. Expertise in nuclear engineering and dry cask
storage technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in regulatory compliance and safety standards.
Effective communication and leadership abilities. Capability to use
industry-specific software for design and analysis. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional
Engineer (PE) license preferred.
