Aircraft Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer
to join our Prismatic Manufacturing Group in East Aurora, NY. This
is your opportunity to join a high-impact team where innovation

cutting-edge aerospace components. As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC
Programmer, you'll be at the forefront of both new product
development and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing
processes. You'll work hands-on with milled parts, applying
advanced CNC programming and machining knowledge to solve
challenges and optimize performance. As a Manufacturing
Engineer/CNC Programmer, you will: /n - Develop and optimize CNC
Mill machining processes for both new and legacy components. /n -
Create detailed CNC programs and manufacturing instructions that
meet rigorous engineering specifications. /n - Define operation
sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements for precision
part fabrication. /n - Troubleshoot shop floor issues, including
tooling, gauging, workholding, and inspection challenges. /n -
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing
problems and enhance producibility. /n - Create detailed operation
sheets and NC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and
sub-assemblies. /n - Review engineering drawings for
manufacturability and recommend design improvements. /n - Assist in
the creation of machine-ready code and be hands-on in the
production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and
troubleshooting. /n - Estimate setup/run times and tooling hours;
contribute to cost estimation for new business proposals. /n -
Mentor junior engineers and lead continuous improvement initiatives
in processes and equipment. /n /n To be considered for this role,
here's what you'll need to bring: /n - A Bachelor's degree in a
technical field with 3 years of relevant professional experience,
or an Associate degree with 6 years of relevant professional
experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of proven
professional experience /n - Proficiency in CNC Milling Machining,
including multi-axis vertical or horizontal machining centers /n -
Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation /n /n It'd be
great if you also had: /n - A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing,
or Industrial Engineering /n - Background in the aerospace industry
/n - Experience with machine automation integration /n - Skills in
inspection of machined parts /n - Hands-on experience machining
stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum /n - Proficiency in CNC
Programming using Siemens NX /n - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
principles; Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus /n /n How we

NY $75,000.00-$115,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer The base
salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary
range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries
will vary depending on factors including but not limited to
location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just
one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
