ATL is committed to providing quality service to our clients and a culture that encourages employee safety, diversity, and satisfaction.As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will support ATL's Drilling Division by performing maintenance services and repairs on various drill rigs, carriers, trucks, and trailers.Responsibilities include:Perform predictive, preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance and inspections of diesel, gas, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systemsTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel, gas, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systemsEffectively use diagnostic tools and dataTest equipment after repair to ensure proper operation and performanceAccurately record time, parts, and inspection checklistsSafely operate repair equipment including vehicle hoist, tire changer and balancer, torches, grinders, and various hand and power toolsWelding and light fabricationMinimum Qualifications:High school or GED equivalentPrior experience with heavy construction and/or agricultural equipment repair and maintenanceValid NYS Driver License required, CDL preferredExcellent time management skills and flexibility in work assignmentsStrong independent work ethic and ability to work in a team environmentAbility to use power and hand-held tools, and diagnostic equipment to repair, replace, and test equipment and vehiclesAbility to understand directions and follow standard operating proceduresHigh regard for safety and hazard mitigationCompetitive benefit package:MedicalDentalVisionVoluntary Life401(k)Uniform PlanTool stipend for use of personal toolsATL participates in e-Verify: This employer will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.AA/EOE
