We are actively looking for a dedicated Senior Reactor Operator to oversee and manage the safe and efficient operations of our nuclear reactor facilities. The ideal candidate will be an expert in nuclear reactor operations and safety protocols, ensuring optimum performance of our plants while adhering to regulatory standards and company policies. This role is critical in facilitating the transition to clean energy and supporting our mission to provide energy solutions that are both innovative and environmentally responsible. Monitor and operate nuclear reactors and associated equipment in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Conduct regular inspections and system checks to ensure equipment is functioning within safe operating limits. Analyze data and adjust controls to achieve optimal reactor performance. Lead response strategies during emergency situations or equipment failures, maintaining a calm and controlled environment. Train and supervise junior reactor operators and support staff, promoting high standards of safety and performance. Document operational data and ensure all procedural paperwork is completed accurately and on time. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency of reactor operations. In-depth understanding of nuclear reactor operations and maintenance Strong leadership and decision-making skills Ability to analyze complex technical data Proficient in emergency response protocols and risk management Excellent communication and training abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Reactor Operator certification Senior Reactor Operator license preferred
