Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. An educational
opportunity is available for a licensed teacher specializing in
visual impairment to provide itinerant services for students from
kindergarten through 12th grade. This onsite contract position is
based in Brownsville, PA, serving a diverse caseload across
multiple school settings. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver
specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students
across K-12 grade levels - Develop and implement individualized
educational plans tailored to the needs of each student -
Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to
ensure accessibility and inclusion - Provide training and resources
for faculty and staff regarding visual impairment accommodations -
Conduct evaluations and assessments related to students visual
capabilities and learning needs - Maintain detailed case records
and documentation to monitor student progress and compliance
Qualifications: - Valid state license or certification for teaching
students with visual impairments - Experience working with K-12
students in an itinerant or consultative role - Knowledge of
adaptive technology and instructional strategies for visually
impaired learners - Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively onsite across multiple school
locations as part of an itinerant service model This role offers an
