POSITION:
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr.Tonja Williams, is interested in receiving applications for qualified candidates for the position of:

Candidates MUST be a current substitute teacher with Buffalo Public Schools.

      • Instruction: July 12th - August 15th (Full Days)

        • July 3- August 11ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
          The Summer School Program substitute teachers will provide the following educational assistance:
          
          
          • Providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
          • May implement teacher lesson plans, assign student class work and homework, maintain classroom control and discipline.
          • May be required to complete a daily report or evaluation to communicate any pertinent information resulting from the day's events.
          • Establishing effective working relationships with staff and students is very important.
          • Other duties assigned by the building Administrator or his/her Administrative designee.This recruitment bulletin in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.             APPOINTMENT:
            Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, certifications, credentials and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.
            
            SALARY: Substitute daily rate based on SUBSTITUTE UNION contract.
