We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
File Clerk to join our team in a remote, home office setting. As a
File Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and
efficient filing systems for our company's important documents and
records. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated
individual with strong administrative skills to work from the
comfort of their own home.Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain organized filing systems for physical and
electronic documents
- Sort and file documents according to established systems and
procedures
- Retrieve and distribute files upon request from team members
- Ensure all documents are labeled and stored correctly for easy
retrieval
- Monitor and track file movements and update records
accordingly
- Assist with scanning and digitizing paper documents as needed
- Regularly perform audits to ensure files are up-to-date and in
the correct location
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process
improvement and implement changes
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential
documents
- Adhere to company guidelines and legal requirements for document
retention and disposalRequirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a file clerk or administrative
role
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in using computers and basic office equipment
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote
setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive
