The Opportunity Delaware North Gaming is searching for an Staff
Accountant to join our team in Buffalo, New York. This position
will be responsible for month-end closing entries, annual plans,
audit assistance, and cash management, as well as financial
analysis of the operation. Our ideal candidate is deadline-driven,
ability to prioritize and adapt to the fast-paced nature of our
business, and able to work with a diverse group of managers at all
levels. This role will be hybrid optional, with a choice of working
in the office full time or working a combination of in the office
and from home a few days per week.Minimum - Anticipated Maximum
Salary: $55341 - $61490 / yearThe advertised pay range represents

resorts Responsibilities
- Preparation, review, and approval of daily sales reports,
accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Responsible for analyzing and reporting variances, monthly
financial projections, and month-end accounting duties, and
overseeing audit requirements.
- Oversees cash management and ensures segregation of
duties.
- Implementation and enforcement of internal controls; ensure
compliance with company policies and procedures.
- In conjunction with the Director of Finance, coordinate and
direct the preparation of the annual plan budget and financial
forecast.
- Analyze and interpret accounting information in order to
appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance
against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness
and operating effectiveness of the unit. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Three years of accounting experience is highly preferred.
- Skilled with computer programs such as Microsoft Office
required. Excel Word, spreadsheets, e-mail, and record-keeping
preferred.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials Software or similar
system, Microsoft Office, Hyperion a plus. Who We Are At Delaware
