successful candidate will drive adoption of our sustainable Honeywell blowing
agents, through building technical expertise, developing customer
relationships, understanding unmet needs within the industry, and navigating
the regulatory environment, with a focus on increasing renewables content in
feedstocks for foam and thermoplastic applications.-- The candidate will
work with global, cross-functional teams focused on research and development
toward new applications for our blowing agent products and contribute biopolymer
experience to internal expertise in the foam and thermoplastic areas.KEY
RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Provide formulating expertise to lead research in renewables content in foam and thermoplastic applications
  • Identify technology opportunities in different foam applications and initiate projects for business growth by working closely with the commercial team
  • Contribute to development of foam innovation and breakthrough technology pipelines
  • Generate new technology and ideas leading to intellectual property including patents
  • Willingness to travel (10%) to accomplish these responsibilitiesThe salary range for this position is $105000 - $157000. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.YOU MUST HAVE
    • Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering
    • 5+ years formulating or technical experience in foam and/or
      thermoplastic industry
    • Experience with renewable chemical feedstocks and/or biopolymersWE VALUE
      • --Experience within an R&D setting
      • Experience handling and evaluating raw materials for
        foam applications as well as final products
      • Experience developing materials intended for
        circularity, recycling and/or biodegradation at end of life
      • Experience with blowing agents
      • Some experience with all aspects of technology
        development
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills
      • Project management experience
      • Involvement in industry standards bodies
      • Ability to work independently
      • Willingness to learn new technologies
      • An open, honest, and team-oriented personality
