Job Description:
The Times Media Company, a division of Lee Enterprises, is
seeking inside sales professionals interested in working in a
fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. As an Inside Sales
professional, your role will be focused on selling print and online
solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This is
primarily an outbound role, and the strongest candidates will have
a ‘hunter' mentality although it will include inbound leads as
well. This opportunity comes with a competitive base + bonus +
commission. Commission is un-capped.
The successful candidate should be able to utilize consultative
selling skills, develop strong business relationships, enjoy
working with a variety of people and be comfortable in a
deadline-driven work environment while providing with solutions
that will positively impact your clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve Sales & Revenue Objectives
Secure new and past clients through outbound efforts, pipeline
management and cadence adherence
Properly handle inbound leads and deliver solutions that will meet
clients' needs.
Strong and consistent follow-up to meet business needs and customer
satisfaction.
Contribute to a positive working environment.
Demonstrate an ability to think creatively and communicate
effectively internally and externally.
Works with clients delivering accurate and timely solutions.
Regularly manage client relationships.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
Advertising or equivalent combination of work-related experience
preferred.
Prior sales experience preferred, but not required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Well organized, detail oriented and excellent follow-through.
Have a dedicated and driven work ethic.
Knowledge of basic computer programs – Outlook, Excel, Word.
